Founded in 1987, Modern Business Interiors re-launched in 2000 under new ownership with a fresh vision of creating an alternative office furniture dealership.
We saw serious gaps between what clients really needed and what most dealerships could deliver. The market needed a dealership that could provide the highest level of professional service and an extensive product portfolio to encompass the desired image of almost any type of enterprise, to suit budgets large and small.
Over the past decade and a half, MBI has hired top-notch industry professionals in both sales and project management. As a result we have experienced tremendous growth. In 2012 we expanded from our base in St. Louis to open offices in Kansas City and northern Arkansas. Today we serve clients based throughout Missouri, Kansas, central and southern Illinois, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and beyond.
To accommodate this growth we streamlined our operational processes, added in-house delivery, installation, warehousing, and upgraded our technology to enhance internal and external communications and provide online project tracking for our clients.
We also greatly expanded our partner network, adding many exceptional vendors in order to meet most any client need and become the complete resource we envisioned 15 years ago.
